Taking the stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Blake stood against the backdrop of a stunning rainfall and majestic trees. Armed with his acoustic guitar, he delivered emotional lyrics that recall the memory of a former love. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma native’s girlfriend Gwen Stefani supported her beau from her seat in the audience. She wore a dreamy ball gown, accessorized with silver bangles.

Following Blake’s performance, he received not one, but two awards for Favorite Male Country Artist and the all-genre category of Favorite Album, for “If I’m Honest.” During his acceptance speech, Blake shared his appreciation for Gwen saying, “I thank the hottest date here tonight, Gwen Stefani, who’s sitting out there.”

He also added, “I do want to say something [that] I think is interesting. I look at that category of Album of the Year, and I know that somewhere out there there’s somebody out there going, ‘I mean how did he win Album of the Year? Isn’t that just a country album full of stereotypical drinking, cheating and tail gaiting?’ To that person I say, you’re damn right it is!”
