While on the late-night program, they performed their reflective tune, “My Old Man.” The song — penned by Zac Brown, Niko Moon and Ben Simonetti — is the first cut off the trio’s forthcoming album, “Welcome Home.”

In this video, frontman of the group, Zac, dons all black and a top hat. He solemnly picks on his acoustic guitar, before singing the sentimental ode to his father. And, it’s clear that he’s misty-eyed while singing the poignant lyrics about life lessons learned from the one person who set the bar for not only his future, but also the future of his only son.

Midway through the performance, Zac is joined by his fellow bandmates, who provide impeccable harmonies on the chorus, as well as simple, yet gorgeous notes on their instruments.

“Oh my goodness, I’m a mess!” said Jimmy Fallon following the ballad.
