Dixie Chicks lead singer Natalie Maines is clearly not afraid to speak her mind about the president. You’ll recall her comment that she was shamed President George W. Bush was from her home state of Texas pretty much ended the Chicks’ country music career.
Fourteen years later and Natalie is pointing her comments squarely at President-elect Donald Trump. You can see she’s not a fan of his judging from this tweet.

She writes, “Just so you know…I’m ashamed the President-elect is the President-elect every single second of every single day.”
Natalie’s tweets about Trump didn’t end there. She later posted this tweet that looked like an Associated Press news flash.

It reads, “AP: Trump just appointed a great 5th grader to head up his nanny nanny boo boo stick your head in doo doo Twitter committee.”
Of course, Natalie’s tweets brought reaction both pro and anti-Trump from other folks on Twitter. Juanita McFadden had this to say.
