Police in Long Island didn’t have to set up a road block to catch their newest DUI on Saturday morning. In fact, they didn’t even have to leave the station. Newsday reported that 25-year-old Samantha Jefairjian flipped her car onto the lawn of the Suffolk County Police Department’s First Precinct.
Apparently, Jefairjian was driving her 2004 Nissan at 5:15am when she lost control and rolled her car up to the West Babylon department’s front door. She was the only car involved in the crash and was not injured in the incident. She is being arraigned in court today.
While the department has caught their fair share of drunk drivers and a few criminals have turned themselves in, this is the first time that a suspect presented themselves in such a brazen manner. When Rare called the precinct they said they cannot comment on an ongoing investigation.
