A 42-year-old Seattle man robbed another man of $40 at knife-point outside of a gas station at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at and thought there was no chance he’d be caught.

Police eventually caught up with him at the gas station and searched him for the money. They found the knife, but not the cash. Where on earth could it have gone?

He was arrested by police for having the knife, but they finally discovered the money when they arrived at the King County Jail. The robber admitted that he had the two twenty dollar bills stashed between his butt cheeks the whole time.

“He volunteered that he had stashed the money in between his buttocks,” Detective Drew Fowler wrote in a blog post.

And that’s why he’s the butt of all jokes.
