Thomas swore-in the new vice president using the Reagan family bible. This moment was also historical in its own right as Pence was the first politician since Ronald Reagan himself to use the Bible for such an event.
Like Reagan’s own swearing-in, the Bible was opened to II Chronicles 7:14,
