Love triangles rarely end on a positive note, and big-time trouble is practically guaranteed if the mistress in the triangle stupidly taunts the cheated-on wife with sex videos of her and the cheating husband.

In this case, the cheating husband, Bill Hall Jr., a millionaire who started a trucking company in his name, was killed by his cheated-on wife, Frances Hall, in a fit of road rage when she was really trying to chase down the mistress, Bonnie Contreras.

Frances Hall, 53, was jailed for just two years in September for killing her estranged husband, a sentence that could have been life in prison, but the jury believed her “sudden passion” was a mitigating factor in the death of her husband.

The Halls were married for 34 years and have three grown children. Hall Jr.’s affair with Contreras lasted three years, and she was apparently ready to ride through any domestic storm to stay with him and start a family of their own.

Why she took the tack of taunting Frances Hall doesn’t make a lot of sense. It ultimately made her crazy jealous and angry, which led to the tragic results of Hall Jr. being dead and Frances Hall spending time behind bars.

Contreras allegedly sent Frances Hall sex videos of her and Hall Jr. and really got nasty by allegedly sending pictures of hysterectomy diagrams, saying Hall was disgusting and not a real woman anymore, according to Hall’s attorney, Leigh Cutter.

Frances Hall opened up in an emotional interview with Crime Watch Daily with Chris Hansen. In the interview, Hall said she still loves her slain husband despite his cheating ways. She said that even when her husband was cheating on her, he made sure to make her feel like she was No. 1 in his life.

“I love him and he is the only man I will love this way,” she said. “Sometimes, I tell my kids that all that’s left of me is a shell of a woman. But I have to be there for them, they lost their father.”

The whole thing came to a head on Oct. 10, 2013, when Frances Hall spotted Contreras driving the family Range Rover and Bill Hall Jr., following her on his custom made Harley Davidson motorcycle. Frances Hall made a U-turn to follow them. She tried to ram her car into Contreras, but in the process accidentally hit her husband and killed him.

Contreras said then that she and Hall Jr. were going to start a family together.

“I was his girlfriend. I was his love,” Contreras told KENS 5 in San Antonio. “I was his everything. He couldn’t wait to start having children. He couldn’t wait to get married.”

Contreras can no longer have Bill Jr., but she is hoping to land some of his trucking business money. She is suing Frances Hall for $2.5 million for emotional stress caused by the accident.

Had she not taunted the cheated-on wife, Contreras just might have snagged the cheating husband.

But love triangles are bad news.
