A woman allegedly raped a male cabbie while her male friend held him at knifepoint, then stole $32 Hancock County Jail/Lima Police Department

In a bizarre crime, 23-year-old Brittany Carter has been charged with rape and aggravated robbery targeting a male taxi driver, while her male accomplice, Cory Jackson, allegedly held the cabbie at knifepoint.

Carter, of Freemont, Ohio, was indicted earlier this month on two first-degree felony counts in connection to the incident that took place in late January, according to the Daily Mail.

The Findlay Police Department reported that at around 4:25 a.m. on Jan. 28, Carter and two “black males,” one identified as the 20-year-old Jackson, called the Trinity Express Cab Service asking to send a taxi to pick them up from the TownPlace Suites hotel on Tiffin Avenue.

During the ride, Jackson allegedly pulled a knife on the driver and Carter performed a sexual act on him. Then, before they took off on foot, they stole $32 from the driver.

The Smoking Gun obtained Carter’s indictment, which said she “purposefully compelled” the cabbie to engage in sexual conduct “by force or threat of force.” Records reveal that Carter was indicted twice in 2016 on felony drug charges of heroin possession and allowing a vehicle to be used in the trafficking of heroin.

She is being held at the Hancock County Jail on $60,000 bond.

According to The Toledo Blade, the third accomplice has not been named and Hancock County Prosecutor Phil Riegle told the newspaper that he does not expect to bring charges against that person.
