“RIP Alan Thicke. Seems like everyone is checking out before the Trumpacolypse,” Edelstein wrote.

Throughout the presidential campaign, Edelstein regularly retweeted articles and tweeted her own thoughts in opposition to President-elect Donald Trump. Her tweet, which was sent shortly after news of Thicke’s death from a heart attack was announced, did not go over well with many of her followers.

Many people branded Edelstein’s tweet “classless” and said that she was a “horrible person.”

Despite the criticism, Edelstein has kept her tweet up and seems to have not let the negative feedback slow down her Twitter usage.

Alan Thicke died of a heart attack on Tuesday at age 69.
