Here’s the reason why the Westboro Baptist Church left Leonard Nimoy’s funeral alone

Like most public figures, Leonard Nimoy’s death brought out the bottom of the barrel of society, aka the Westboro Baptist Church.

The obnoxious fake religious group planned on picketing Nimoy’s funeral, as they have hundreds of funerals over the last two decades.

Despite the church’s plans, the Nimoy family was able to successfully withhold the location and date of the funeral, effectively leaving the WBC out in the cold.

Though the WBC complained of not knowing the funeral’s location on Twitter, it may have been for naught. Despite threatening to picket high-profile funerals, the WBC has rarely shown up in recent years.
