Actress Rosie O’Donnell has been one of President-elect Donald Trump’s greatest critics since his election in early November. The two have long been figures on the New York society scene and have long disliked one another. Trump went so far as to ridicule O’Donnell before millions of people during the first presidential debate of the election.
Since Trump was elected, O’Donnell has used her Twitter feed as a means to express her politics and interact with her fans. Following news that the CIA believes the Russian government helped influence the presidential election, O’Donnell seems genuinely fearful for her country.
“NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD ELECTORS TO COME TO THE AID OF THEIR COUNTRY – #FOCUS #WeThePeople #RESIST,” O’Donnell said alongside a tweet about Trump’s criticisms of the CIA.
O’Donnell also called for the resignations of FBI Director James Comey and Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
“YES RESIGN COMEY AND MCCONNELL,” Rosie wrote.
O’Donnell doubled down on her hope that Trump would ultimately never take the oath of office.
