One of the suspects who was captured in a harrowing home invasion video last week has turned himself in. A spokesperson for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said the 26-year-old Seattle man flagged down a police officer on Friday and confessed to being one of the robbery suspects.

The invasion and robbery were caught by the victim’s home surveillance camera and widely shared online. Two male suspects can be clearly seen rummaging through the victim’s bedroom looking for valuable possessions, while the woman attempts to hide in a bathroom. Eventually, the suspects kicked down the bathroom door, ripped jewelry off the victim, stole her cell phone and left the house.

The Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said it is believed that pressure created by the video’s going viral led to the man turning himself in. He was taken into custody for second-degree strong-arm robbery. The second suspect, however, is still on the loose and has yet to be identified.
