“WH photo (ed for security): @potus receives briefing on #syria military strike fr Nat Security team, inc @vp , SECDEF, CJCS via secure VTC,” Spicer wrote.
The photo shows many key players in the Trump administration, including Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Chief Strategist Sreve Bannon, and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, among others.
According to Spicer, the photo was taken after the strikes began at a secured briefing room at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago golf course.
After the photo was published, comparisons were immediately drawn between the photo of Trump’s administration, and a similar photo taken of President Barack Obama and his team as they watched the military raid that killed Osama Bin Laden.
