After failing to comply with boarding procedures, a passenger on Monday’s Delta flight from Detroit Metro Airport to San Diego was literally dragged off the plane by police officers. Another passenger found the ordeal entertaining and caught it all on video.

The woman allegedly stormed past the gate agent without checking in and was arrested for violation of airport ordinances, including failure to leave the plane. In the video, she is seen being dragged by her arms through the plane’s aisle.

“Holy s**t, that’s some crazy s**t!” one onlooking passenger exclaimed while the woman was being dragged off the plane.

“At approximately eight this morning, Delta Air Lines contacted Detroit Metropolitan Airport’s police department requesting assistance with a passenger who would not comply with boarding and baggage check procedures at a McNamara Terminal gate,” a Delta spokeswoman said in a statement to WWJ Newsradio 950. “When officers arrived, Delta Airlines stated the woman could not remain on board. Despite repeated requests by officers, the woman refused to leave the aircraft and had to be removed. She was arrested, and charges are pending,” the spokeswoman added.

Luckily for the remaining passengers, the flight was only briefly delayed in its departure.
