It’s been two years since Miranda Lambert put out a new record. So, it’s no surprise that fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of her double-album, “The Weight of These Wings.”

Turns out that Carrie Underwood is counting down the days until the anticipated release too!

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Carrie, 33, revealed that she’s both “excited” and “interested” to hear the artistry on the 32-year-old Texan’s forthcoming project.
Carrie said, “Miranda’s just so good at everything she does. She’s such a great songwriter…. and she seems to inject so much of her life into her albums.”
In 2014, Miranda released her fifth studio album, “Platinum,” which featured a duet with Carrie called, “Somethin’ Bad.” Between then and now, two major changes took place in Miranda’s life — her highly publicized 2015 divorce with Blake Shelton, and her newfound romance with rhythm and blues player Anderson East. So, it’s safe to say that “The Weight of These Wings” will showcase some deeply personal tracks.

Miranda has already given us tastes of the track listing in advance of the album’s release. So far, she’s debuted, “Vice,” “Keeper of the Flame,” and “Highway Vagabond.” She also played two cover songs off the record to audiences on tour — her rendition of Danny O’Keefe’s “Covered Wagon,” and Shake Russell’s “You Wouldn’t Know Me.”
“The Weight of These Wings,” which includes Disc 1 called “The Nerve” and Disc 2 titled “The Heart,” will drop on Nov. 18.
