Houston’s latest bite sized gold medalist is competing once again – this time on the dance floor

Houston’s darling Simone Biles obviously knows what she’s doing in the gym after winning gold five times in Rio last summer.

But Biles clearly has a few more tricks up her sleeve, as the bite sized champ scored the highest of 12 contestants on the premiere of Dancing With the Stars this week.

Gymnasts have a strong record on ABC’s hit show, including Bile’s fellow Olympic gold medalist teammate Laurie Hernandez as well as 2008’s Olympic balance beam gold medalists Shawn Johnson, who both won their respective seasons.

1994 Olympian, Nancy Kerrigan, is also on this season of DWTS, but Biles’ top score forced the former ice skater to continue to ask herself why her 28 points weren’t enough.
