For country music singer Cole Swindell, that moving moment came with Chelsea Hogue.

Chelsea — a 23-year-old girl from Louisville, Kentucky — met Cole backstage at a concert in 2015. But, between then and now, something tragic happened. Chelsea was hit by a drunk driver, and now suffers from a traumatic brain injury. She doesn’t remember ever meeting Cole.

With the help of her boyfriend, Joey Osborne, Chelsea was able to get in touch with Cole. Needless to say, the most magical thing happened!

On Sept. 21, Cole made a FaceTime call from his tour bus to his beloved super fan. Not only did he cordially invite her to one of his shows, but he also serenaded her with her all-time favorite song, “I Just Want You.” And, we’ve got to say, the whole exchange brought us to tears!

“It’s so inspiring to know that I’m going to get a chance to meet somebody that’s been through what Chelsea’s been through,” Cole said in the video, “Things like this really make us realize why we do what we do, because anytime you can help somebody do anything you should.”

Chelsea and the “Middle of a Memory” singer will retrace history during Cole’s concert in Evansville, Indiana on Oct. 14.
