A popular TV show in Brazil called “Silvio Santos” came up with a prank for April Fools’ Day that was actually frightening.

The show put hidden cameras on a subway car to capture the reactions of passengers when the lights flickered on and off and zombies started pouring in.

When the lights start flickering, the train operator apologizes for technical problems.

Then everything goes dark and the zombies walk in.

It just so happened that all of the victims of this prank were women and it is not clear if they were actors. If they were actors, they did a really good job of making their fear seem genuine.

If they were just regular people, well, this prank is actually pretty cruel.

This took place on a train near Ceara in northern Brazil.
