A huge fire broke out at a refinery plant and caused an incredible sight you’ve got to see Facebook/Screenshot

KHOU 11 News captured aerial footage from Air 11 of a blazing fire at the LyondellBasell refining plant in Southeast Houston Friday morning

The fire was reported around 10 a.m., and according to the Houston Fire Department, cleaning fluid and heavy fuel were burning.

Around noon, KHOU 11 posted an update on their Faceook post that said,”UPDATE: A shelter in place has been issued for Sims Bayou to Broadway and Manchester to Park Place. Citizens in this area are asked to remain indoors at this time. Plant fire on Lawndale at Allen-Genoa right now.”

LyondellBasell spokesman Josh Buchman told KHOU the cause is under investigation.

According to KHOU, no injuries were reported.
