An elderly woman visiting a Michigan zoo got a face full of poo from a feces-flinging chimp

Apparently a chimpanzee at John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids, Mich., never got the memo about not monkeying around in front of guests.

The riled-up chimp flung a handful of feces in the direction of an elderly visitor and the poo smacked her right in the face. Visitors around her burst out in stunned laughter, but the woman didn’t seem all that amused as a rather large sampling of doo-doo clung to her nose.

Jacob Mitchell posted the video to YouTube, where it has been viewed more than 140,000 times as of Monday morning.

Commenters on the video seemed to be split on whether to feel sorry for the lady with the chimp’s feces hanging from her nose, or to take the side of the chimp forced into a lifetime of captivity by humans.

While one person wrote, “Oh man. I feel bad for her,” another person posted, “Well if I was imprisoned for human entertainment I would throw s–t on them too.”

Another commenter agreed: “That’s exactly right, and after all, a chimps gotta have a little entertainment too.”

At any rate, hopefully someone at the zoo helped the woman wipe the poo off her face — and maybe even gave her a refund.
