Looking for seashells and soaking up the sun’s rays are typical for a beach day. However, beachgoers in North Carolina found something very unusual.

Massive shark teeth have washed up in North Topsail Beach and Surf City due to recent storms.

Denny Bland found the fossilized teeth from a Megalodon.

“Oh my God, like I said, I felt like I was a lottery winner or something,” Bland told WITN.

Experts at the Aurora Fossil Museum estimate the teeth were about six inches long and the Megalodon to be about 60 feet long, WITN reported.
