Shocking footage shows the moment a stunt pilot performance went horribly and fatally wrong YouTube Screenshot

South Carolina stunt pilot Greg Connell tragically passed away Saturday following a fatal crash during a tandem performance at the Good Neighbor Day Stunt Show in Atlanta, Georgia.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve just had an accident,” the announcer is heard saying just following the accident. “I want you to turn your children away from the field right now.”

Connell crashed during the routine with good friend and fellow pilot Gary Ward when he went into a steep dive and failed to pull out of it in time.

“Greg flew underneath me and I had no idea Greg crashed like a second later,” Ward told WSB-TV.
