What remains a mystery is why their daughter Lindsie, 32, reconciled with her father after a public spat.

Well, Lindsie cleared all that up. And she said it has nothing at all to do with her parents’ current legal issues. Instead, it was actually related to her 2021 divorce from Will Campbell.

“After my divorce stuff had become public, my dad had posted, ‘I’m here, I love you, whatever’s going on in your life right now I see it,’” she said on her podcast, via the New York Post. “That’s really more so how we were able to reconnect. [It was] definitely because of my divorce.”

As for the trial, Lindsie swore it had nothing to do with why she and her father are on the same page again.

“I can confidently tell you there was no reconnection due to any legal reasons whatsoever,” she said. “Nothing like that ever transpired.”

Is she changing her tune?

This is a reversal from her interview with Entertainment Tonight. That is when she said she suspected she would “never” talk to Todd again, and that she wasn’t following along with the show.

“Through therapy over the last year, I had just been advised by my therapist to not tune in, to not follow along on social media,” she told ET in September 2021. “So, I try to distance myself from that as much as possible.”

Her tone started to change, though, after her parents’ verdict.

“The verdict is not what I had hoped or prayed for, and I am deeply saddened for myself, my son and my family as a whole,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Please pray for us during this difficult time.”
