Boston brothers, Scott and Steve Leader, on their way back from a Red Sox game, decided to engage in the national political debate around illegal immigration by beating up an old homeless man. The two woke him up by peeing on him, and followed that up with a beating using a metal pole, according to the Boston Globe. The 58-year-old victim was hospitalized. According to the police report he received a broken nose, bruises on his head, and a large bruise across his torso.
One witness told the police the two Leaders walked away laughing. When the troopers caught up with them Scott justified their behavior because their victim is Hispanic and homeless.
He later told police that “Donald Trump was right, all these illegals need to be deported.”
When Trump was asked about the actions he inspired he responded with “it would be a shame . . . I will say that people who are following me are very passionate. They love this country and they want this country to be great again. They are passionate.”
Both of the brothers have extensive criminal records but plead not guilty to multiple assault charges with a dangerous weapon, indecent exposure, and making threats.
Included in Scott’s resume is attacking a Moroccan man, throwing a cup at the Dunkin’ Donuts employee, calling him terrorist and a few other things.
