Oh boy, I could have seen this coming from a mile away. Turns out daycare workers who were literally caught on camera wearing a Halloween mask and chasing around children have been fired. According to local news, the incident took place at a Mississippi facility at a Monroe Country daycare.

As expected, the clip went insanely viral after parents were concerned about the employees sneaking up on several unsuspecting children. The employee chasing the poor kids was wearing the Ghostface mask from the movie Scream. Apparently, the viral videos are from two separate incidents, one from September and the other taking place on October 4.
A video shows the adult caretaker wearing the mask terrifying the group of toddlers. They then pursue a screaming child while he is crying. Another one shows children yelling off-camera through the room.
Daycare Worker Fired For Chasing Children In Halloween Mask
Another clip shows one of the unmasked employees asking the children if they need to be punished for misbehaving. They then point out the children who have been “bad.” That’s when the masked employee can be seen getting into the child’s face asking if they need to be taken outside.
The owner of the daycare center stated they were seeking their own legal counsel. They confirmed they weren’t present at the time of the incidents. The four employees who were involved in the incident have all been fired.
“The people that did those acts are no longer with me. I do not condone that, I just wanted to say that it is being taken care of.” the owner of Lil’ Blessings Daycare and Learning Center stated. No charges have been filed yet for the employees, but a Monroe County Sheriff stated the office is looking into the incident.
“I understand people want retaliation or retribution or whatever they want, justice is really what they want,” Sheriff Crook stated.
