Interim Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Donna Brazile has her own thoughts on the Wikileaks hack that targeted her party only days before the Democratic National Convention.

Appearing as a Sunday guest for ABC’s “This Week,” Brazile said that the Democrats “are victims of a cyber crime led by thugs.”

Brazile also said that the hack was an attempt to destablilize both the Democratic Party and democracy.

The hack into the DNC’s emails revealed that staffers had a hand in aiding Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign over challenger Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.). The actions occurred under former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, leading to her resignation at the start of the convention.

Brazile replaced her as interim chair in the meantime.

The FBI investigated the hack. Some officials have pointed to Russia as the source of the attack.
