After his siblings Donald Trump Jr. and Tiffany Trump spoke Tuesday at the Republican National Convention, Eric Trump took the stage and echoed their thoughts, proudly calling Trump his father.

“Today my father stands before you with the most primary votes of any republican candidate in the history of our nation,” Eric Trump said as the crowd cheered.

“I see in his eyes a man who truly loves his country – and who wants his country to be great again.”

“It’s time for a President who can make America great again: ahead of budget and ahead of schedule, too.” He said his father, “turned dreams into reality his entire career. It’s what he does. It’s who he is.”

Trump said Oprah once asked Trump if he’d ever run for president.

“Only if it got so bad that I had no choice. Well, ladies and gentlemen that time has come,” he said.

Eric Trump continued and touched on his foundation, the Eric Trump Foundation.

“I run my foundation based upon the principles that my father taught me: Honesty, integrity, and values.”

He went on to discuss why his father is best the candidate.

“Vote for the candidate who has never been a politician. Vote for the president who has never received a check from our government. Vote for the one candidate who does not need this job,” he said.

“Never have I been more proud to be a Trump.”

“Dad… you are my hero,” Eric Trump said. “You are the next president of the United States.”
