The elder Musk just welcomed a second child with the 35-year-old Jana Bezuidenhout — his longtime stepdaughter.

Errol Musk, a South African engineer, now has seven confirmed children. Among them, Elon and his two full siblings from mother Maye, Kimbal and Tosca, and two children with his former stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout. According to The Sun, Errol was married to Jana’s mother, Heide Bezuidenhout, for 18 years. Heide and Errol also share two children together: Alexandra and Rose… who are now half-siblings and cousins with Jana’s own kids! (Ew…)
Jana was just four years old when her mother married Errol, and her current relationship to her former stepfather is a little unclear. They were living together in 2017 when they welcomed their first child, Elliot Rush, but split after 18 months. And though Errol has confirmed his paternity of Jana’s current newborn — whose name has not been released — they are not a couple.
“It’s not practical. She’s 35,” Errol said of the relationship in The Sun. But, he added: “Eventually if I’m still around, she might wind up back with me.” And though Errol is all about reproducing, he’s no father of the year. In the same interview, he noted when Jana visited him six months ago, her kids were “Starting to get on my nerves.”
It’s therefore no surprise that Elon has a volatile relationship with his father.

Speaking to Rolling Stone in 2017, Elon Musk called his father “a terrible human being” and “evil.” Errol had been estranged from his son for some years at that point, and the journalist Neil Strauss describes Musk on the verge of tears while discussing his dad.
However, Elon also has a tortured connection with one of his own kids. The billionaire has fathered nine children and the oldest among them, Vivian Jenna Wilson, spoke out publicly against her father last month. Vivian, who is transgender, was born Xavier Musk and recently changed both her full name in order to distance herself from Elon. “I no longer live with or wish to be associated to my biological father in any way, shape, or form,” she said at the time.
And that’s all for the Musk family drama. Last year, Elon publicly welcomed a second child — daughter Exa Dark Sideræl — with his on-and-off partner, the popstar Grimes. But apparently, just before the birth Exa Dark Sideræl, Elon secretly fathered twins with Jennifer Zillis, who is an executive at his company Neuralink. Insider confirmed the birth of the Zillis twins, as well as their connection to Elon.
“If people don’t have more children, civilization is going to crumble. Mark my words,” Elon told The Wall Street Journal in 2021. He is now dating actress Natasha Bassett who is half his age.
