Fox News’ Neil Cavuto calls out the media meanies who are always picking on President Trump

Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto admitted that President Donald Trump doesn’t much like him as evidenced by the fact that Trump doesn’t come on his show.

But that little fact didn’t stop Cavuto from ending his program Monday with his “Mailing it In” segment by coming to the defense of the president and attacking just about every other media outlet for being too rough on Trump too often.

“This over-the-top negative media response to everything he does, well, that’s not right or fair,” Cavuto said. “Take just today. The same media that’s all but ignored the stock run-up since his election is now calling the sell-off post the health-care debacle the ‘Trump Slump.’ Clever.”

Cavuto, who just called the failure to pass health care a “debacle,” then showed a string of headlines from newspapers and rival cable news networks to make his point that the media is being overly critical of everything Trump does.

“Anyway, where is the balance in that? Where is the fairness in that?” Cavuto continued. “Remember, as I said again last week, I have no ax to grind, but the media sure does when it comes to saying anything good about this president, or anyone who says anything good about this president, ever.”

Stay tuned. This will surely continue.
