Researchers made an incredible discovery in 1,000-year-old Buddha statue after a CT scan

Researchers and experts at Meander Medical Center in the Netherlands made a historical discovery after conducting a CT scan.

The examination of a statue of Buddha nearly a millennium old revealed that Buddhist master Liuquan was mummified inside.

The discovery was first made in September 2014 and the statue is now on display at the National Museum of Natural History in Budapest.
