Shoppers are making JCPenney go viral, but probably not in the way the retailer hoped. The company is selling a white pencil skirt with a floral design. Seems simple enough, right? Well, it’s the unfortunate placement of the flower design that has people talking.
Someone noticed the skirt in a print ad and tweeted about it. Some Twitter commenters say they don’t see a flower but a menstrual period stain on the skirt, due to the flower’s slightly off-kilter placement.

Despite the criticism, at press time, the Worthington brand skirt was still online and on sale for $23.99.
