The comedy is set to be a “rock, unflinching, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life, according to Deadline. “It will include a mixture of grounded storytelling with absurd elements depicting an unfiltered view through Pete’s eyes.”

Well, it looks like now Davidson has several A-list actors who will be joining him. Joe Pesci has officially signed on for the show, which will be strained by Peacock.  The actor is said to portray Davidson’s grandfather in the series.  The 79-year-old will star alongside Edie Falco who has been cast as Davidson’s mom.

According to Peacock, “The series will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known.”

As far as what parts of his life will be featured on the show are yet to be revealed. But usually, the comedian talks and jokes about his upbringing including the loss of his father Scott Davidson. Davidson was a firefighter who tragically died during 9/11.  The actor has also had quite an adventurous love life including his engagement to Ariana Grande,  and his relationship with Kate Beckinsale, Phoebe Dynevor, and Kim Kardashian

The series will be Pete Davidson’s latest project after deciding to quit SNL this year. He starred in several other movies including The King of Staten Island, The Suicide Squad, and Big Time Adolescence. Meet Cute, with Kaley Cuoco is also set to be released on Peacock in September.
