Man Hilariously Uses Dating App to Secure Job Interview

You gotta do what you gotta do. A man just scored a job interview while looking for a date on Bumble. Now the internet has conceded that the line between dating apps and LinkedIn has become blurred.

Adnaan’s Job Interview Makes Us Wonder: Have Dating Apps Become the New LinkedIn?

Adnaan Khan was getting to know a potential love interest on the dating app. Naturally, the question of what they do for a living came up. When the woman said she worked in HR for a startup’s talent acquisition team, Adnaan saw his golden opportunity.

“Oooof,” he wrote. “I’m doing my masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Maybe you can talent acquisit me in your startup.”

Miraculously, the woman seemed to be on the same page. “I was gonna ask what kind of jobs you’re looking for LOL. Are you graduating this year.”

Twitter Exploded in Applause: “You’re Doing God’s Work”

It’s almost like a parody of an adult novel. But hey, it worked. And Twitter sees nothing wrong with it.

“If you’re unemployed enough every app is LinkedIn.”

“Yo I respect this… secure the bag.”

“Modern problems require modern solutions.”

“It’s time to download bumble fam.”

Plenty of people also acknowledged that LinkedIn has become a hot spot for lonely singles looking for love. In fact, even LinkedIn admits that there are reasons to look for love on its platform.

“Some people be using LinkedIn as Tinder as well.”

“Simping on LinkedIn and networking on Bumble. How the turntables …”

“LinkedIn is becoming Tinder And Tinder is becoming LinkedIn. The crossover we never expected.”

“IMO you’re just doing god’s work by balancing out the people who are flirting on LinkedIn by recruiting on bumble.”

Others were still a little shocked by the interaction. It wasn’t that Adnaan had scored a job interview on the dating app. It was that they had so much chemistry. (On that note, my brain is starting to hurt).

“Wow, what kind of conversation this relaxed.”

“Bumble engagement after this.”

However you interpret it, one thing is clear. The times are changing and sometimes that requires stepping out of your comfort zone a little. Maybe that means you’re sure you found the man of your dreams when you were simply looking for a job with a 401k. Maybe that means the woman you thought you were attracted to on Tinder is actually just a job connection.

It’s confusing, but if you trust your gut and uh, don’t get banned, anything goes these days.

What do you think?
