Man Tragically Falls to Death from Times Square Building in New York

An unidentified man has tragically plummeted his death from a Time Square housing building. According to officials, the man was pronounced dead at the scene following the scary incident which took place at 6:50 a.m. on 43rd Street near 8th Avenue. A terrified woman answered the phone at the office location four hours after the man had jumped, saying, “ someone jumped? Jesus Christ!”

 the woman stated that the property was a residence rather than a building. The 652-room former Hotel,  The Times Square, originally opened back in 1991. According to the nonprofit breaking ground, it “combines permanent affordable housing and onsite supportive services for low-income and formerly homeless adults, persons with serious mental illness and persons living with HIV/AIDS.”

Unfortunately, there have been no more information released at this time. A NYPD’s spokesperson has yet to comment on the situation or identify the victim. According to the New York Post, two bell boys who work at the Westin Hotel across the street stated that the NYPD closed off the block while they were all investigating. They revealed that the victim was indeed a man but didn’t see him fall or jump off. More information is set to be released in the following days.
