Selfie sticks got some flack when they first came around, but they certainly are good at allowing people to see the whole picture. Vice-president elect Mike Pence recently grabbed his own selfie stick to snap a picture with the new House Republicans. And in case you didn’t already expect it, the “Grand Old Party” is almost all old white men. Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington tweeted out the photo with the laughable caption “shake up the status quo in Washington, D.C.”

While the Democrats are also comprised mostly of old white men as well, there are a few people of color in their ranks. Newly elected congressman Anthony G. Brown of Maryland recently tweeted out a photo of the incoming Democratic members of congress.
