When New York Mayor Bill de Blasio spoke at Officer Rafael Ramos’s funeral, hundreds of New York City cops turned their back on him.

Now NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton is warning his officers not to do it again.

“A hero’s funeral is about grieving, not grievance,” Bratton wrote in a memo that was obtained by the New York Post.

“I issue no mandates and I make no threats of discipline. But I remind you that when you don the uniform of this department, you are bound by the tradition, honor, and decency that go with it,” he continued.

The service for Officer Wenjian Liu, who was shot and killed execution-style along with Ramos, is on Sunday, and de Blasio will once again be speaking.
