Pat Sajak Clears Up ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Situation For Fans

You can enjoy Wheel of Fortune in person somewhere other than Los Angeles, but don’t expect Pat Sajak and Vanna White to be there.

In fact, Sajak said the pair won’t be attending the Wheel of Fortune LIVE! touring production, which starts this fall.

“I want to make it clear that Vanna and I are not involved in any way with the Wheel of Fortune Live roadshow touring the country this fall,” Sajak announced on Twitter. “Sony has partnered with an outside company, and you must buy tickets to attend. We just don’t want anyone to be disappointed. Caveat emptor.”‘

Wheel of Fortune LIVE! is modeled after The Price Is Right LIVE!, giving fans throughout the country to participate without the need to travel to LA.

The decision to bring Wheel of Fortune to cities across the U.S. was announced back in May, and the game will work just like the one seen on TV. Contestants are eligible to win anything from trips to $10,000 while audience members will be selected for random prizes.

The tour will kick off in Owensboro, Kentucky on Sept. 8, and will also make stops in St. Louis, Indianapolis, Memphis, Charlotte, Atlanta, Richmond, Philadelphia, Providence, Cincinnati, Seattle, and Kansas City, before concluding on December 10th in Prior Lake, Minnesota.
