Police in Corpus Christi, Texas, discovered a 44-year-old man dead in a car parked at Walmart early Tuesday morning, and the early indications are that he died of a drug overdose.

According to the Corpus Christi Caller Times, police found the unidentified man slumped over his steering wheel next to his Chihuahua mix puppy.

The dog was alive and well.

It is not yet known how long the body was in the car, but an autopsy will be happening soon. Currently, police do not suspect foul play and believe the man died of a drug overdose.

The incident comes days after a body was discovered in the trunk of a car parked at a Walmart in San Antonio.
