Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, a fellow University of Michigan man, who famously got in hot water for publishing a picture of Brady’s young son’s genitals years ago, called Brady the best of all time while sharing a picture of the two together.

JJ Watt, who just retired from the NFL himself, said Brady was the GOAT, then invited him to play golf and drink with other football retirees.

The New England Patriots shared a GIF of Brady with the six Super Bowl rings he shares with the franchise.

Brady’s second team, the Tampa Bay Bucs, shared a tribute post as well.

Derek Jeter, the legendary New York Yankee, congratulated Brady on an “unbelievable career”.

Jason Whitlock, the conservative commentator formerly with ESPN and now with The Blaze, commented on Brady’s Facebook post where the announcement was made, encouraging him to get his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen back.

It is worth wondering how Gisele will react to the news, considering it was Brady’s unretirement from football this time last year, that was the final straw that broke the back of their marriage. With football now being behind Brady for good, could the two get back together? They do share two children, to say nothing of two decades of life spent together.

Personal life aside, Brady signed a 10-year $375M announcing deal with Fox in May of 2022. If Brady’s legendary focus and preparation translates to the booth, the Quarterback is sure to have success as an on-air analyst as well.
