One way to show your wife and children that you’re a decent provider is to spend millions on the children the very minute they are born.

That’s the lesson offered by one Florida man, who bought his newborn a yacht and pricey wardrobe for his son.
Scott Hutchinson, 27, and fiancé Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, 52, had son Romeo Tarquin on August 12, via surrogate. Since his birth a little more than a month ago, young Romeo has been gifted a $2.8 million yacht and $34,600 worth of clothes.
Other than that, the kid’s got nothing.
“We just spent $2.8 million on a yacht for Romeo and named it after him,” Drewitt-Barlow told The Sun. “It is currently in Miami where Saffron [my eldest daughter] is boarding, with her new boyfriend and heading over to Cuba and the surrounding islands for two weeks.”
Drewitt-Barlow actually has seven kids in all. At 52, he’s just fine with newborn.
“I keep forgetting how old I am,” he said, via The Sun. “It’s hard going with a new baby but I wouldn’t be without him now, we are totally in love with him.
“I have made the decision that this is my last child. I’m hanging up the hat and calling it a day.”
But hey, what a way for the kid to enter the world. And we’re not just talking about the yacht.
“Burberry, Versace, Dior, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, if a designer sells baby clothes we have snapped them up,” Drewitt-Barlow said.
