Queen Elizabeth II is expected to soon abdicate the royal crown to her son, Prince Charles. The Queen was absent from the State Opening of Parliament due to her failing health. She claims to be “tired and exhausted” since contracting Covid-19 in February.

Prince Charles read aloud Queen Elizabeth II’s speech. In front of him on a table was his mother’s imperial state crown. The speech discussed the upcoming parliamentary agenda, which allegedly does not align with Prince Charles’ intentions. This may or may not have been apparent in the way the Prince delivered his mom’s speech.
The Prince wants to put more emphasis on climate change but isn’t in the position to do so. He cannot use primary monarchal channels to discuss his beliefs. At the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference, Prince Charles made a chilling statement. “Time has quite literally run out,” he said during his speech.
The Queen’s speech mentioned a long list of agenda items. This includes supporting the people of Ukraine, creating safer and cleaner transportation systems, and protecting human rights. Education standards, mental health, and steps to support the economy were also mentioned.
It’s expected that Prince Charles will continue to be the Queen’s stand-in until she officially abdicates the royal crown. At that point, the throne will presumably be passed to Prince Charles.
Queen Elizabeth II has been wearing the royal crown for over 70 years since 1952. She was heir-presumptive to her father, King George V, after his brother Edward VIII abdicated the royal crown in 1936.
Queen Elizabeth II is 96 years old.
Long Live the Good Queen. Apparently even at age 96, she has more sense than her son or a lot of other younger people. More emphasis on climate change? That crap is just stupid, Charles.
