T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are coming back to reality after an extended honeymoon-esque fling with unemployment. The former GMA 3 hosts have been photographed loving on each other over the past months after ABC fired them after their publicized affair. According to Entertainment Tonight, Holmes and Robach are ready to get back to work and might even look for a project together.

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach May Find New TV Work Together or Separately
According to inside sources, Robach and Holmes’ return to TV is inevitable. And, because of their longtime chemistry, they are considering finding work with the same show. They may also choose to work separately but at this time they are keeping their options open.
“Amy and T.J.’s chemistry both on and off screen is undeniable,” an insider told ET. “It’s been that way for years, so it’s no surprise that the two would want to continue their careers together on screen in some capacity. And while there’s always hope for a joint venture of sorts — like being on a show together — the two could work separate from each other, or at different networks entirely. Needless to say, they are intent on working again.”
Another insider told ET that “it’s just a matter of time” before we see the former GMA hosts on air again. However, exactly what new jobs they pick up may “[depend] on the terms of their severance.” It’s not uncommon for Hollywood contracts to stipulate a certain waiting period before former or current employees can seek certain types of publicized work.
The Couple “Weren’t Worried” About Work a Month Ago
This is the first time we’ve heard anything about T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach becoming employed. After they were let go from ABC in January, they’ve been on what seems like an endless vacation. As of early February, the couple didn’t seem concerned about their future income sources.
“They’re actually in love and still in touch with people who work on the show,” a source told People. “They’re not worried about not working again, but they know the dust needs to settle a bit more before they get another job. There’s still too much going on.” The source noted that it was a “dicey situation” due to about half of GMA viewers thinking Robach and Holmes’ termination was the right choice and half feeling like it was wrong to let them go. “Amy and TJ were liked by mostly everyone,” they said.
Holmes and Robach Have Repeatedly Been Spotted Packing on PDA & Vacationing
In the past couple of months, Holmes and Robach have been incessantly followed by paparazzi. It seems that once word gets out that they’re on vacation somewhere, the next day there’s a trove of photos showing them putting on PDA. “PDA” is a grey term here, as half the time the two have been seen kissing or touching each other while trying to get away, say, in a foreign country.
It makes sense that they’d feel overwhelmed by all the press, but hey, at least they have fans! One of the reasons why everyone is so fascinated by the couple is probably simply the fact that they’re so into each other. Neither seemed to care that they lost their successful jobs as Good Morning America hosts or were stigmatized as unfaithful. They kept on flirting on air after news of their affair broke out and even joked about it on GMA.
Both officially separated and filed for divorce from their former spouses of 12 years after their affair was discovered. Holmes divorced immigration lawyer Marilee Fiebig and Robach divorced Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue. Holmes officially filed for divorce from Fiebig after he was spotted at the airport over the holidays with Robach. Robach filed her papers a few weeks earlier. They were obviously putting each other first and acting like “what is done is done.”
The Former GMA 3 Hosts Made Their First Public Appearance Together at a Memorial Service
On another note, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were recently spotted in their first official public appearance together. They were attending a memorial service for the late LGBTQ activist Howard Bragman. An eyewitness told ET that Holmes and Robach “arrived together and were very much a couple. They were in good spirits despite the sad occasion.” They added that they heard them “expressing frustration about the paparazzi following their every move.”
