A white middle school teacher in Pflugerville, Texas, has been fired after a video showed him telling students that his race is “the superior one.”

When a student asks the teacher, “So white is better than all?”
The teacher responds by telling the student to let him finish his thought. “I think everybody thinks that,” the teacher can be heard saying. “They’re just not honest about it.”
Another student asked in another video, “You said you are racist, yeah?”
The teacher responded that he was and was “just trying to be honest about it.”

The teacher, who has not been identified, continued to hammer home his point.
“It means that deep down in my heart, I think my race is the superior race,” he said. “That’s what it means to be a racist.”
It’s not clear whether the teacher was role-playing, or truly is an admitted racist. Either way, he is out of a job — and you would have to think his teaching days are a thing of the past.
“Last Friday, Nov. 11, Pflugerville ISD officials were made aware of an inappropriate conversation a teacher at Bohls Middle School had with students during an advisory class,” Pflugerville Independent School District (PfISD) superintendent Douglas Killian wrote in a statement. “As of Monday morning, Nov. 14, the teacher in question is no longer employed by Pflugerville ISD and we are actively looking for a replacement.”
The superintendent also apologized to students and their families.
“We want to reiterate that this conversation does not align with our core beliefs and is not a reflection of our district or our culture at Bohls Middle School,” Killian said in the statement. “The advisory discussion was inappropriate, inaccurate, and unacceptable; and this type of interaction will not be tolerated in any PfISD schools.”
