For once, it seems as if Angelina Jolie’s ire is directed at someone other than ex-husband Brad Pitt.

Actually, she is still probably upset with Pitt, but now it appears she is also mad at the FBI. And Jolie isn’t just upset with the FBI. She may be suing them, according to Entertainment Tonight.
While the woman on the documents obtained by ET goes by “Jane Doe,” it is believed it’s actually Jolie. The documents state that “Jane Doe” is a public figure and wants to remain anonymous.
Yeah, well, so much for that idea.
Anyway, what sort of gave it away is the woman listed in the documents is suing the FBI for information related to their investigation into a domestic incident on a private jet from several years ago. Such an incident, involving Pitt and his oldest son, led to his split from Jolie.
Per ET, the suit seeks information about the agency’s investigation. But, more specifically, of an incident of domestic violence that occurred several years ago. And then, more specific still: involving plaintiff and her minor children as victims and witnesses.
Well, that does make it pretty obvious.
It went on to read: “Several years ago, while plaintiff, her then-husband, and their children, who were all minors at the time, were traveling via private aircraft, the husband allegedly physically and verbally assaulted plaintiff and the children.”
The FBI opened an investigation into the incident, but as Doe stated and ET relayed, the bureau “publicly announced it was closing its investigation of the incident without further action.”
What happened, and when?
The alleged incident between Pitt and son Maddox, then 15, occurred in September 2016.
“If this is indeed Angelina, depending on what the FBI reports say, it could potentially be critical in her proceedings against her ex-husband, Brad Pitt,” legal expert Rachel Stockman told ET. “The problem is, she doesn’t know what the documents say. She doesn’t know what the FBI found out and that’s exactly what she’s trying to find out. It very well could be damning against Brad Pitt — she doesn’t know. Her attorneys are hoping basically that they’ll find something, I would assume, that they can use in their litigations.
“We certainly don’t know if she’s wanting to use [the FBi files] in a custody battle or in another lawsuit that she has currently ongoing against Pitt involving an alcohol business. But she wants to know what’s in these files and if they do become public. Everyone will most likely be able to see them, including the public; so it could certainly be bad, PR-wise, for Pitt as well if these documents became public.”
