Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) criticized President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet choices on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

“What concerns me very much is it looks like we have a Cabinet of billionaires,” he said. “I guess they have a few poor millionaires on it, but mostly it’s billionaires.”

Sanders noted how Trump promised to fight against Washington’s elite, upset that Trump was considering Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson for the position of Secretary of State.

“Maybe I’m not seeing something here,” he said, “but you don’t appoint the head of Exxon Mobile to be Secretary of State.” Sanders slammed Trump’s actions, saying that “you don’t appoint a Cabinet of billionaires to be taking on the establishment.”

The senator said that there were “a lot of very important questions” that needed to be asked of the various appointees during their congressional confirmation hearings.
