On Friday, in Washington, D.C., a vote to pass The American Health Care Act in the House of Representatives failed to occur after congressional leadership realized that they didn’t have enough votes to pass the bill. The defeat was a crushing blow to President Donald Trump and his administration, who had staked their early claims in Washington on the passage of the act and the repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

Following the bill’s defeat, effectively a win for the Democrats in Washington, lawmakers celebrated. In an appearance on MSNBC, filmmaker Michael Moore cautioned against Democrats who may be inclined to gloat.

“This is not the time for the Democrats to gloat or throw some kind of party,” Moore told Chris Hayes Friday night

Instead, Moore thinks that Democrats should be readying themselves for the next fight.

He added: “We do need to fix these parts of Obamacare that did cost us votes in November…Do not sit around…Democrats, you have to get this fixed.”
