On Tuesday morning, Sheriff David Clarke, the Milwaukee County Sheriff best known for his appearances on Fox News, called a CNN political pundit a racial slur.

Clarke referred to Marc Lamont Hill, as a “jigaboo” in a tweet about some of his recent comments.
“I am tired of this jigaboo telling black people who they should be, what they should do. He’s a lackey for Democrats,” Clarke wrote.

Clarke linked out to a RealClearPolitics article about a recent media hit that Hill had done.
Hill took umbrage with African American celebrities like Kanye West and Steve Harvey meeting with President-elect Donald Trump.
“Yeah, it’s a bunch of mediocre Negroes being dragged in front of TV as a photo-op for Donald Trump’s exploitive campaign against black people. And you are the prime example of that,” Hill directed at fellow guest Bruce Levell.
Hill believed that Harvey should have brought along actual policy experts.
EXACTLY. I've never called @SheriffClarke an Uncle Tom, porch monkey, coon, hambone, shine, or handkerchief head. It's unseemly I tell ya! https://t.co/ZoP0Xpk4fW

“I don’t care if Steve is there, but if I’m Steve Harvey, I’m bringing Michelle Alexander, I’m bringing Cornell West, I’m bringing Ahmadi Perry, I’m bringing — I’m bringing Eddie Glaude, I’m bringing Michael Eric Dyson. I’m bringing some folk with me who can challenge the president and inform the conversation,” Hill said.

Following Clarke’s racial epitaph, Hill reacted on Twitter, hurling his own right back at the sheriff.
“I know YOU ain’t talking about me, dog. YOU?!? Also, jigaboo?!?!? mwahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahah,” Hill wrote on Twitter.
“I’ve never called @SheriffClarke an Uncle Tom, porch monkey, coon, hambone, shine, or handkerchief head. It’s unseemly I tell ya!” he would later follow up after responding to another Twitter user.
Clarke later referenced several other historic black leaders in an attempt to bring Hill down.
Marc Lamont Hill would call Frederick Douglas a "mediocre negro". If Douglas is a "mediocre negro" that would make Hill a slime ball. pic.twitter.com/tvGqi8Zxoz

Booker T was talking about Marc Lamont Hill. If race relations get back on track after Obama re-opened the wound, Hill becomes irrelevant. pic.twitter.com/7B6kc09aMU
