NBC 2’s news crew was covering a story featuring a “cute and cuddly” beaver, but things took a turn for the hilarious when one of them said he’d never encountered any cute beavers.
“Maybe I’ve seen my beavers in the wrong place,” anchor Daniel Winn said. His co-anchor, Taniya Wright, couldn’t stop laughing, despite desperately trying to keep her wits about her.
The broadcast switched to weather before finally moving on to another story. But the laughter could not be stifled.
The story in question was about the beaver breaking into a dollar store and trying to find wood for his dam, but only going after fake trees. However, it seems that the newsman might not have been talking about mammals. UrbanDictionary’s number one definition for beaver refers to female genitalia.
It’s likely that this anchor is simply seeing his beavers “in the wrong place.”
