TikTok is freaking out over a video allegedly depicting a window cracking open while an airplane was mid-air.

The plane was allegedly flying from Warsaw to New York, according to TheNationalNews.com.
A user named Degenerate Destroyer2 posted the video. It features the caption “Throwback [sic] when our plane window cracked on polish [sic] airlines and everyone freaked tf out”
Additional captioning beneath the video reads “#crazy #lotairlines #poland #planes some people steal this video I have proof it was me.”
TikTok Video Goes Viral
TheNationalNews.com said the alleged airplane incident happened on August 20 and was uploaded Wednesday.
“In it, the three passengers seated in the row hurriedly move into the aisle, while a woman nearby screams for cabin crew to help. A member of the crew can be seen picking up the on-board phone as a safety message is delivered,” the website said.
Meanwhile, the report cited The Aviation Herald as obtaining a response from an unnamed spokesperson for Polish Airlines.
“This particular window was not broken,” the spokesperson reportedly said about the airplane. “Dreamliner’s windows consist of many layers. What was broken was the internal layer responsible for dimming the window,” said a spokesman for Polish Airlines.
“This fault is well known, as electro photochromatic window dimming system is vulnerable to damage by physical contact with sharp or heavy objects,” the spokesperson allegedly continued.
Additionally, TheNationalNews.com said the captain of the plane only chose to lower the plane to 10,000 feet as a precaution. The caption then landed the plane safely at JFK Airport in New York, according to the report.
TikTok viewers apparently love airplane videos, including one of a passenger licking a toilet seat.
