Carl Paladino, a Buffalo politician and former chairman of the Donald Trump New York campaign, said in an interview on Friday that he wishes President Obama would die of mad cow disease, and that First Lady Michelle Obama used to be a man and should go live in Africa with apes.

A western New York newspaper, ArtVoice, asked politicians for their 2017 wish lists, and that’s when Paladino made his offensive comments about the president and first lady.

“Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a Herford [sic],” he wrote the paper. “He dies before his trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to Valerie Jarret [sic], who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady [sic] cell mate mistook her for being a nice person and decapitated her.”

He was then asked who he wished would “go away” next year, and he said, “Michelle Obama. I’d like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla.”

When asked about his statements, Paladino shrugged them off.

“Yeah, I’m not politically correct,” he said. “They asked what I want and I told them.”
